You are here

Tis is the 1st track of Darlene Zschech's Change Your World album which is her first solo album.

Is really good, especially with the haunting 'Hallelujah' refrain that goes together with the song especially towards the end of the song.

At the name of miss zschech, standard evanglicals would instinctively put on guard their theological sensors ready to spot out any theological shortcoming of her songs . This is understandable as songs produced by Charismatics and Pentecostals tend to invite more theological criticism than others (this is not to say we are to assess songs less stringently which are deemed to be 'safer' because they are produced by standard evangelicals).

So fellow Christians, have a listen to this album, with theological discernment as one should with all things, perhaps you might be in for a surprise not to say you will agree with everything. You might be even irk with some stuff but you might just be in for a pleasant surprise.

ps: hoping and wishing to know more Christian songs, perhaps writing, composing, singing songs...indeed songs are one heck of a gift from God!

ps: have a listen to casting crowns album called lifesong, tis beatiful and meaningful.

Agnus Dei!

I still love hillsongs' old albums. now... er... the standard dropped la :D

Can someone verify whether aussie churches are now paying HS for copyrights for using their songs during worship?
